Naugatuck Glass manufactures hundreds of different commercial optical components. We can offer surface grinding and polishing capabilities using the following materials:
- Optical Crown Glasses (B270 or BK7)
- Fused Silica Quartz

- Color Filter Glass (Kopp, Schott, Hoya, Optima)
- Corning Pyrex 7740
- Corning Vycon
- Optiwhite, Starphire, Ultrawhite
We specialize in the production of round, rectangular or odd-shaped configurations utilizing CNC equipment for profiling, surface grinding and polishing.
Dimensional tolerances as precise as +/- .002 inches are maintained.
All are stocked in-house enabling us to provide short lead times.
Our decorating capabilities include artwork preparation (using CAD), screenmaking and silk screening.
Our Optical coatings include low reflection, conductive indium tin oxide, magnesium fluoride (Mil-C-675A) and high efficiency reflection reducing (Mil-C-14806A). All work is performed in a certified Class 10,000 clean room.
We also provide assistance in product design, development and prototype production for your projects.
